Succinctness

I like to hear her crystallize a string of loquacity
to cleanse the patch of sound. She's skilled with verbal knives.

She's spry with instruments of cutting. I hear her
pare words. Thrive on direct simplicity.

She pares speech, the few remaining words
gleam with meaning. I want to hear them more.

The more she sounds each, the better I like her
consonance and assonance and alliteration.

Figures of speech surround her as though awaiting
sprinklets of holy water of her own making.

Speech imbued with holy gem light. She declares that
she values clarity that frees her time.

She frees words from being stray plump feathers in disarray.
Concision works its way into her milieu,

She finds glue that holds words to account.
I like to hear her crystallize a string of loquacity
