Argument won't augment

the nattering and nit picking 

that run their course 

toward evaporation.

Remind me 

of the difference

between light and cloud. 

Both lack sound, but skin, 

the body's best defense, 

absorbs variants of light

maintaining the ability 

to withstand the surrounding

atmosphere of heat, wind, and mist

that gently clothe the mind

beneath the act of breathing

for the duration.
